Welcome,

                                             My name is Akash Purohit. I am from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh (India). My father Lt. Dr. Prem Chand Sharma retired as Joint Director from the Department of Animal Husbandary, Himachal Pradesh, and my mother, Lt. Mrs. Sharda Sharma retired as Principal from the Himachal Pradesh Education department. 

I have worked with various companies of different scales, as a content writer, SME, trainee engineer, etc., and conducted online as well as in-situ research. (Please refer to my resume)

My quest of becoming a professional writer started with a fantastic book written by a fabulous author (my mother gifted it). The book's name was "The Story of My Experiments with Truth" by "M. K. Gandhi" a.k.a. Mahatma Gandi. The moment I finished that book, I felt overwhelmed by a strange emotion, somewhat like a mixture of jealousy, admiration, and respect. Since that day, I have dedicated my whole life to becoming an avid writer like him.

I have my fair share of experience with content writing, copywriting, scripting, white paper preparation, creative writing, and so on, both as an employee and freelancer. Failure has always been as much part of life as success. It's a consequence, not a choice and I've seen even the most ambitious and promising projects fading into oblivion.

This portfolio serves as a glimpse of my experience and contains a few of my work samples along with my resume.
